Now through Nov. 3, original kapa works created by celebrated practitioners of the revered Hawaiian art form are on display in Kahilu Theatre’s Kohala and Hamakua galleries.
Practitioners include Marie McDonald, Roen Hufford, Moana Eisele, Sabra Kauka, Solomon Aipo, Denby Freeland-Cole, Verna Takashima, Lisa Schattenburg Raymond, Dalani Tanahy and Bernice Akamine.
